Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Microchurch?

A microchurch is the most basic expression of the church. When 3-16 or so believers work together in sincere worship and genuine community to accomplish part of the mission of God, they are the church. Worship, community, and mission are our ecclesial minimum.

What is a Microchurch Network?

The network is built to serve the microchurches. It is a way for us to come together to encourage, pray, share and worship together. God uses the network to connect people together who have similar hearts. Once a month our microchurches gather together to support and network. We strive for the best of the micro and the best of the macro.

What about kids and teens?

We believe it is our job to disciple our kids. Each microchurch takes the responsibility to show, tell, and live the gospel out for their kids. Teens are encouraged to fully participate in the microchurch. Montage will support and equip microchurches to raise up kids in the ways of the Lord. We also encourage partnerships with local youth groups when appropriate.

What about giving?

We believe God’s people should be generous like God is. We intentionally keep our operating costs low so giving can go to help, equip, and support people. You can donate to Montage here.

Leadership and accountability?

Montage Microchurch Network is a part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance and closely connected to the C&MA Rocky Mountain District. The local leadership of Montage is made up of microchurch leaders who are living out their love for Jesus and people.
